David Alderson’s three-piece buckle set has a base of mild steel with a sterling silver overlay border and a background of 24K gold wire in reverse inlay. Made for the billet of a one-inch belt, it is embellished with single-point engraving. Alderson’s stated goal was to demonstrate that “silversmiths are not limited by the type of materials used to make a functional piece of art.”
The keeper of the three-piece buckle set has a TCAA logo in 14K gold overlay.
